What is an AI mock interview?+
An AI mock interview is a simulated interview with an AI interviewer that asks real, role-specific questions, listens to your spoken answers, and gives you structured feedback on content, structure, delivery, and pacing — in the same format your real interviewer will use.
How realistic is the Interview Lift AI mock interview?+
The mock interviewer uses voice synthesis and conversation-aware follow-ups, so the experience feels like a real interview — including silent pauses, clarifying probes, and timing pressure. Questions are pulled from the 48,000-question verified company bank, calibrated to your target company and level.
Does it cover behavioural, coding, and system-design rounds?+
Yes — all three. Behavioural mode uses STAR-shaped scoring; coding mode runs your code against test cases and flags edge cases; system-design mode evaluates against scale assumptions (RPS, storage, fan-out) and rubric phrasing for the target company.
How long is a typical mock interview?+
45 minutes by default, configurable from 15 to 90 minutes. Most candidates run two mocks per week in the lead-up to a real loop.
