TCS mode vs. a generic copilot
A generic copilot does not know the difference between TCS Ninja and TCS Digital, and that difference is the entire ballgame.
What TCS mode unlocks
NQT, Ninja, Digital — auto-detected
The three TCS tracks pay differently (₹3.36 / ₹4.5 / ₹9 LPA respectively) and test differently. TCS-mode classifies your target track from the JD or from the recruiter's opening sentence and switches question difficulty + behavioural framing automatically.
Aptitude-round live overlay
TCS Aptitude is unique among Indian IT firms in including Verbal English and a star-pattern problem section. The copilot renders shortcut techniques for Quant (PS, Time-Speed-Distance, Probability), Verbal (cloze, error-spotting), and Reasoning (Coding-Decoding, Series).
Coding round in C, C++, Java, Python
TCS Ninja Coding is C/C++/Java only; TCS Digital accepts Python. The copilot detects the language from the editor pattern and surfaces TCS-style hints — output prediction, command-line input parsing, structures-vs-classes.
Technical Manager Round (MR) behavioural framing
TCS MR rounds blend technical drilling with behavioural questions framed around "What if a teammate is not delivering?" — the copilot surfaces scaffolds calibrated against TCS's collaborative, hierarchical culture.
HR round culture-fit and bond questions
TCS HR rounds ask about the 2-year service agreement (bond), willingness to relocate, and night-shift readiness. The copilot pre-generates ready-to-deliver answers calibrated against typical TCS expectations.
Email Writing / Essay writing mode
TCS uniquely includes an Email Writing round in NQT. The copilot has a dedicated writing mode trained on actual TCS email-writing prompts (sample: "Write to your manager about a team trip"), with scoring against TCS rubric weights.
